Use Ice to Remove Carpet Dents

Has your furniture been sitting in the same place on the carpet (or rug) for several months, or even years? If you recently rearranged your furniture, you’ve probably seen an indention or two left behind. Not to worry – you can actually use this quick and easy trick to bring that carpet back to life.

Take an ice cube (or two) and place it on the divot. If it is a long or large divot, space the ice cubes about an inch or two apart. Let them sit and melt. It is recommended to leave the ice cubes overnight. In the morning, you can fluff the carpet (if necessary) and blot or gently scrub with a white cloth. Super easy!

You’ll be able to rearrange your space without worrying about the impressions that are left behind by heavy furniture.
