  2. Oranges do not “naturally” exist. Oranges are a domesticated species, so you’ll never see them outside of a grove. 3. Brazil is the number one producer of oranges in the world.

  4. There are now more than 600 varieties of oranges worldwide.

  5. It takes nearly 14 gallons of water to grow an orange.

  6. Oranges are the King of the citrus world. They account for 60% of citrus production.

  7. Orange trees are actually evergreens in a semi-tropical and tropical environment.

  8. Florida is the orange capital of the United States.

  9. Although oranges are considered fruits, the orange is actually defined as a Hesperidium. Hesperidium is a simple fruit stemming from a single flower, with one ovary, and many seeds; in other words, a modified berry.

  10. A single citrus plant can have 60,000+ flowers, but only 1% of the flowers will become fruit.

There are many species of oranges known for their oils within the rinds – those are the ones we use in our proprietary CitruSolution cleaning agent. The oils contain a natural degreaser, which helps release stains from fibers. We love our oranges!
