How Safe is Our Citrusolution Carpet Cleaner?

When it comes to our client’s homes, well-being, children, and pets, we want to make sure that the service we provide is safe, while also being efficient.

One of the questions we often receive is:

“Just how safe is your Citrusolution?”

Our response? VERY!

Not only is it safe to use inside your home, but it is also environmentally friendly.

Citrusolution is derived from citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruit. These fruits have a special ingredient called D-Limonene inside the rinds. Citrus fruits go through a special process to extract D-Limonene to use in our cleaning solution. D-Limonene is very effective with removing stains, because of the opposing acidity to products that cause stains. Citrusolution also does NOT use harmful chemicals in the cleaning solvent. This also means that we do not use soaps or dyes either. (THAT is one thing that makes us different to other companies).

When we clean your carpet, upholstery, and area rugs, our process is low-moisture – meaning that we do not use a lot of water. Less water also means less downtime and less moisture for any kind of bacteria or mold growth. With our low-moisture process, your carpet, rugs, and furniture will dry quickly; however, they’ll also be very clean and sanitized. (Citrus is a natural sanitizer too!)

Our process is also very effective. Once we lightly spray the areas, we activate it by a rotary brush system that penetrates deep within the fibers to remove dirt, dust, and allergens. After all of the debris is removed, we use a high-efficiency HEPA filter vacuum to filter out 99.7% of the small particles.
